the MINI BOWIE COLLECTION. A kid-sized, all BOWIE inspired, handmade capsule wardrobe project by sew chibi designs. Cosplay fashion 2017! As an homage to David Bowie, I started making a capsule wardrobe the Starman's most iconic outfits for my 5 year old! I've done Blackstar, and this one is a ZIGGY STARDUST collection. Completely self-drafted, the ZIGGY includes a custom designed, Yamamoto inspired cape, romper, fabric "feather" boa, ukulele strap, and fabric rings.     Oh I love this! Ever since I saw the BOWIE exhibition I've been wanting to play with the outfits for my kids. then, after he died I was even more motivated - just sadly too busy. Top of my list is an Ashes to Ashes clown suit, a Riot in Liberty jumpsuit and that tight turquoise suit. If only there were more hours in the day. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!
