Pieced Leather Necklace

  • Step 1: Using the leather scissors, cut your leather scrap piece into various triangular shapes.

  • Step 2: Glue the scraps together, layering the pieces on top of each other as desired.

  • Step 3: Once you’ve assembled your piece, allow the glue to dry for about 10 minutes and then use your leather punch to create holes on either end of the piece for your chain and jumprings. 

    Note: If some of your leather pieces are curling, you can place the piece under a heavy book for a few hours to help flatten them out.

  • Step 4: Using your needlenose pliers, slide your leather piece and piece of chain onto a jumpring and close. Repeat this step on the other side of the necklace. Attach your clasp to the pieces of chain.
