The skirt is sewn by me. I made a pattern myself and experimented a bit. I wanted to try to make a skirt without darts but to shrink the fabric through steam ironing so it hugs the body nicely. I managed to shrink it to match the waistband that was 2 cm shorter than front and back skirt pattern. This heavy cotton fabric was right to do that as it can be ironed easily and really holds the form. I am happy with the result – the skirt is well fitted but still it’s quite loose. This method is good for balancing the comfort and silhouette.

The body chain is also made by me.
