I love the brilliant colours of peacock feathers and their amazing, almost hypnotic pattern. This crocheted blanket is an attempt to try and capture some of that mesmerizing beauty. Reversible and double-thick, it’s also a great blanket to cozy up in or to use as a bedspread.
Yarn: For oval motifs: Bernat Waverly (1 skein in black, 3 skeins in gypsy gold, 4 skeins in turtle green); Red Heart Soft (3 skeins in turquoise, 3 skeins in teal). For reverse-side blanket: Red Heart Soft (5 skeins in teal).
Hooks: 5mm and 8mm.
Notions: You’ll need a tapestry needle.
Blanket size works up to be about 50 inches by 58 inches.
