The sewing patterns comes with detailed sewing instructions as well as a instructions on how to print out and assemble the pattern.

Garment details:
Malu is a short coat with kimono sleeves and wide sleeve and hem cuffs. There are optional welt pockets and a choice between a collar or a hood, and a zipper or buttons. (Or make it a jacket version.) The coat is fully lined.

**Please note: A sewing allowance of 1 cm has already been included in the pattern!

Difficulty: Easy+ (basic sewing knowledge recommended)

Fits women's sizes: 34/36/38/40/42/44/46

Fabric Recommendation: woolen fabrics or sturdy cottons

Fabric Requirements:
Outer fabric, coat:
sizes 34 - 38: 290cm
sizes 40-42: 295cm
sizes 44-46: 300cm

Outer fabric, jacket:
sizes 34 - 38: 220cm
sizes 40-42: 230cm
sizes 44-46: 240cm

Lining, coat:
sizes 34 - 46: 210cm

Lining, jacket:
sizes 34 - 46: 150cm
* with a fabric width of 140cm

Additional materials needed:
Fusible interfacing coat:
90cm x 140cm
Fusible interfacing jacket:
90cm x 120cm
5 buttons with a diameter of 2.5 cm
OR separable zipper (length coat: 70 cm; length jacket 65 cm)

This looks like one of those garments you'll never take off! It is SO cute and looks warm and comfortable. I think I need this pattern!

hello Silke! bought yesterday the coat malu pattern and can't wait to start sewing it!but before starting I have a question: are the sizes included created with finished measurements? I mean, as in winter you have plenty of sweaters to wear underneath a coat, do you suggest to create a size bigger to the one you normally wear or not? Hope you can help me!
