SHANDIIN //Navajo for 'Sunshine'\\ Tank & Tunic



The Shandiin (pronounced 'shun-deen') Tank and Tunic is the perfect Summer top.  The A-line shape allows for little bodies to stay cool in the heat, as does the unique back crescent cut-out.  Shandiin has sturdy yet feminine narrow straps, hem facings, and options galore.  Sew one with a button front, another with an elasticated puff hem, and another one with 2 or 3 different fabrics! The Sandiin Tank & Tunic is a staple piece full of customization possibilities - no two you make will look the same. 

This pattern is a straightforward, satisfying sew, and calls for fabrics that are fabulous to work with - cotton lawn, voile, lightweight linen to name a few. You can even use knit fabrics for some parts of the Shandiin!  Imagine all of the fabric combination possibilities!
