Hello, I'm Nadine and I love sewing and I also knit. 

Apart from being fun and kind of meditative, I think making your own clothes enables you to make the garments you like and to make it fit your body. Especially if you have a certain taste/style (I'm into 60s subcultures), sewing opens up a whole world of possibilities.

Although I learned to sew at school many years ago, I had not kept track of it as I often came to my limits very fast when trying to sew clothes - and there was no social media / youtube etc. when I was younger. So I still need to learn a lot on techniques and fitting.
